When Yashasvi scored 26 runs in the first over of Nitish Rana, Rajasthan made a record in IPL. He became the second team to score the most runs in the first over. He equaled Kolkata Knight Riders in this matter. Kolkata scored 26 runs in 2013 against Mumbai Indians at Eden Gardens itself. One run extra was also found in that over. Rajasthan did not get a single run in extras. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) holds the record for scoring the most runs in an over. He scored 27 against Mumbai Indians in Chennai in 2011. Seven runs were found in it as extras.
