This can’t happen now- AB de Villiers
Speaking on his YouTube channel, AB Devilliers said, “I had thought about coming out of retirement earlier, but now it’s not possible. I’ve made my decision, just as I’ve done throughout my entire career. I’ve always remained loyal to my fans and my team. Whenever I make a decision, it reminds me of my childhood when I was taught to think carefully about whatever decision I make and stick to it firmly.”
Not as good as before – De Villiers
AB de Villiers further stated, “I’ve given a lot of thought to this decision. The reason being that over the past few seasons, I began to feel a slight dip in my energy on the field. There are a few reasons for this. I only play for a few months in a year. So, thinking that I may not be as good as I used to be was a daunting thought. If my purpose here wasn’t to come and become one of the best in the world to change the game, then it’s time for me to move forward.”
