Kane Williamson was unavailable for the match due to fitness issues, and Mitchell Santner led the team in his absence. Pakistan’s innings saw a notable performance from Mohammad Rizwan, who scored 90 runs in 63 balls, narrowly missing a century.
However, apart from Rizwan, none of the other batsmen made significant contributions. The wickets kept falling, and Pakistan finished their 20 overs at 158 runs, losing five wickets. Matt Henry and Loki Ferguson took two wickets each for New Zealand, while Adam Milne claimed one.
