The Sri Lankan fast bowler suffered the injury during the second T20 match against Bangladesh in Sylhet on March 6. Because of this, he could not complete his entire bowling spell and walked out of the field in the middle of the match.
Sri Lanka Cricket also confirmed the injury to Mathisha Pathirana. The board announced that Mathisha Pathirana will not be participating in the third T20, citing a ‘grade one hamstring’ injury in his left leg as the reason for his unavailability.
Devon Conway also injured for CSK
Recently Chennai Super Kings suffered a big blow in the form of Devon Conway. The opening batsman got injured in the T20 series played against Australia. He had a serious injury to his thumb, due to which he could not be a part of the two-Test series.
