India vs South Korea Hockey:In the semi-finals of the Asian Games men’s hockey, India defeated South Korea 5-3. With this, India secured a spot in the finals and ensured at least a silver medal. Indian team’s vice-captain Hardik Singh opened the scoring with the first goal. The second goal was scored by Manpreet Singh, the third by Lalit Upadhyay, the fourth by Amit Rohidas, and the fifth by Abhishek. For Korea, Jang Manjae scored the first, second, and third goals, putting up a strong fight for his team.

India registered its first goal in the fifth minute of the match. The Korean goalkeeper stopped India’s shot for the first time, but the rebound went straight to Hardik Singh. He made no mistake on the rebound and put the ball in the goal post and the first goal of the Indian team proved to be successful.

The second goal of the Indian team came in the 11th minute. Gurjant controlled the ball for a long time and reached Korea’s D. He gave it to Mandeep Singh standing near the goalpost. Mandeep made the goal reach the goalpost without any mistakes and the second goal also proved successful for the Indian team.

The third goal for the Indian team came in the 15th minute when Vivek took the ball to Korea’s D. He passed Gurjant. Gurjant attempted a goal, but he could not convert it into a goal and his shot was blocked by the Korean team. However, captain Harmanpreet somehow controlled the ball and passed it to Lalit Upadhyay. And without making any mistake, Lalit put the goal in the goal post and the third goal of the Indian team was also successful.
