Team India’s star fast bowler Shivam Mavi attracted everyone’s attention by breaking the back of the West Zone batting line-up with his brilliant bowling. Mavi took 6 wickets for 44 runs in his name, due to which his team bundled out West Zone for 220 runs.
Talking about his performance, Mavi said that I have been doing well with the red ball in the last three-four years. and hope i get to play test match. It is not that I want to play only one format and I am working hard to be ready for all three formats.
The selectors have given me a huge responsibility…’
Significantly, Shivam Mavi is currently playing in the Duleep Trophy as the captain of the Central Zone. Also talking further say that I am very happy with it, selectors have given me huge responsibility, captaincy is difficult for fast bowlers in India because of conditions here fast bowlers get tired. But in Bangalore the conditions are fine and we don’t get tired much,
I have played in England and the weather here is very similar. And as captain we get time to think. It doesn’t matter to me who the batsman is, for me it’s all about bowling in the right areas and if I know I can do that then I get wickets
The young player also spoke about his practice
Apart from this, Shivam Mavi also talked about his practice and in this connection he also talked about giving time in the nets.
And I was bowling 7 to 8 overs everyday in the nets. I kept myself motivated by thinking that I would get a chance soon and focused on improving my skills. Yes I was playing after three months. It was a bit difficult to find the rhythm on the first day. The 4 overs I bowled on the first evening were tough for me. But it got better when I arrived. come back to bowl another day.
